Francesca made my stay especially easy. When I arrived, she insisted on carrying my 50-pound bag up and down the stairs, and she was always friendly and quick to help. She also gave me advice about places to eat, things to do, and how to get around. I felt safe both in the hotel and around the neighborhood during my four nights in Rome as a solo female traveler. The location was amazing, very close to the Colosseum, lots of shops and places to eat, and a pharmacy just down the street. The metro is nearby too, and Termini is a long but manageable walk. The room was basic, just a bed, tiny desk, and bathroom, but that was fine since I only needed it for sleeping and showering. I saw the place being cleaned several times, and it all felt neat and clean. A couple of things to know: sound carries, so I could hear people in other rooms and the hallway, including someone else's alarm in the morning. It didn't bother me much because I'm a sound sleeper, but light sleepers may notice it. Also, my two emails before arriving went unanswered. I'd only asked if they could store my luggage, which seemed like an easy question. Once I was there, though, they communicated by email and WhatsApp, and they did store my luggage before check-in. If you have a question before arrival, WhatsApp might work better. For the location and what you get, I thought it was reasonably priced. I'd definitely consider staying here in Rome again.

The place was spotless and well looked after, with a comfortable bed and a roomy bedroom and bathroom. There was plenty of soap and shampoo, and the staff were exceptionally kind and focused on good service. It's a great base for the historic area. Keep an eye out for the goldfish in the backyard water fountain!

We booked at the last minute and ended up having a really pleasant stay. The rooms and bathroom were clean, the people were lovely, and the hospitality was great. There's a good location and cute restaurants right outside.

The room was cleaned every day, and the staff were very friendly. It's a convenient place to get around town and have somewhere to rest at night. If being well located matters to you, this hotel is a good choice.

At the inexpensive Hotel Rosetta, you can save your money for the overpriced Vatican, which clearly doesn't need any more. I was very happy with the location: major sights are a short walk away, and Cavour metro is about five minutes on foot. There are plenty of restaurants, plus a post office, shops, and the boutique Monti district just minutes away. Explore Monti behind Rosetta, and check out the rooftop bar and restaurant at Hotel Forum down the street for its outstanding view. The accommodation itself is basic, but the room suited a solo traveler well. It had a firm bed, a desk with enough power outlets and lighting, air conditioning, and a large window for fresh air. The bathroom has been updated and has an excellent shower.
