Hotel Santa Maura 2

The room was spacious and cute, and the bathroom was good enough. The hotel was clean and service was great, with warm, helpful staff. Breakfast was included and lovely. It's just steps from a central metro line and several bus routes, and about 30 minutes by train from the central station. The neighborhood isn't pretty, but I felt safe walking alone after dark. Nothing but good things to say.

If you just need somewhere to sleep and aren't looking for anything fancy, this place is okay. The rooms are old but usable. There weren't any glasses for water, and we got only one towel each. They didn't change them for the three days we were there. The outlets were in rough shape too, and you had to position the plug just right to make it work. Breakfast was pretty good, with tasty desserts, scrambled eggs, bacon, some ham, and bread. There were no vegetables, and the only drinks were water and one juice.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is elegant, the rooms were very clean, breakfast was tasty, and the reception service was excellent. Lidl and metro C are only a two-minute walk away.

I was very satisfied staying here and would come back on another visit. It's neat and clean, in a quiet area, and the staff are friendly. The metro is close by, and it takes 15 minutes to get to the nearest central part of Rome.
