We booked Apartment Gaia and found it nothing like the photos: it was very dirty, with mould throughout. The owner’s communication was awful. Because of the black mould and the health risk, we asked for a refund for the nights we didn’t stay, but she denied everything, even after we sent photos. She said we shouldn’t go into the cellar and called it “stains.” She also wouldn’t work with Booking, so customer support was no help. We’ve now lost 300€+28€ city tax, and she’s ignoring us completely. Do not book any of her listings!

We were two people, and there weren’t any blankets or bedsheets for us. Two blankets were stored in a place that smelled really bad, like they’d been left there for two years and never used. We’re sleeping without blankets right now. The hot water was also a problem, and the old shower only partly worked. There’s no door between the bedroom and living room. Very disappointing apartment. Sad I can’t give it zero stars.
