Francesco made us feel welcome when we arrived, and when we asked for water he brought us bottles. We stayed five nights at Il giardino dell'argano rosso. Breakfast was nicely arranged: he brought a bill each evening so we could get a fresh breakfast around the corner the next morning, and he suggested something of his own that we could try. The apartment was clean and hygienic, and trains and buses were an easy walk away. There are a few dogs on the property, so keep that in mind if you have an allergy or fear of dogs, though they’re very well behaved. We enjoyed our stay and thank Francesco for it. Definitely recommend!

The dirty spoons in the drawer were disappointing, on top of the dirty walls, mold on the ceiling, and peeling radiators, which really weren’t appropriate. The garden was unkempt, though maybe that was because it was February. I’d expected a well-kept B&B. Even the intercom was broken, unless that’s how it’s supposed to be. These things might have been acceptable in winter if everything else had been fine. Unlucky me?

We always have a phenomenal stay here and highly recommend it. The location is central but in a relatively quiet part of Rome, near Trastevere Station, with great connections to Fiumicino Airport, Termini, and Tiburtina. Buses and trams nearby take you straight to the city center in just a few minutes. Our apartment has an entrance hall, kitchen and living room, bathroom, and a large, bright bedroom. It’s comfortable and fully equipped, and the central garden divides the different apartments as soon as you enter the property. We’ve been coming to Il Giardino dell'Argano Rosso for years, and Mr. Francesco is friendly, helpful, and professional. See you next time. Francesco, Anna, and Egli

The breakfast bar nearby had delicious maritozzi, croissants, and donuts, and there’s a large free parking lot close by. We spent three nights here and had a great time. Francesco was very kind and helpful, and the location is convenient for Trastevere train station and the tram that goes straight to the city center. Highly recommended!
