La Dolce Vita Guesthouse

The room was spacious and clean, and the woman who welcomed us was very friendly. Still, the stay was made miserable by the rude concierge in the old building. He acted like he owned the place and shouted at us for stepping into the lobby. The apartment is only a few floors up, but we couldn't use the elevator unless a staff member was there, which meant dealing with him again. There were also unreasonable guesthouse rules against using the bathroom before 7 am or after 10 pm. That means no shower before an early day of sightseeing or a middle-of-the-night flight. I understand concerns about noise, but being unable to use a space we're paying for felt awful. If you have no other choice, you could stay here, but if there's another option, take it.
