Deluxe Rooms

I booked three nights and didn't stay for a single one. I had to find another hotel for myself and my children. This was advertised as a hotel or bed and breakfast, but it was a dirty, moldy, tiny room with an even smaller and dirtier bathroom, and no air conditioning. The room was in a different place from check-in, so I had to take an Uber there. They gave me four keys. After the first two doors, I couldn't open the third. I called the man who checked me in, and he told me to call the building's “receptionist.” The person I called was sitting in an office outside the building, right where I could see him. Eventually he came over to show me how to open the third door, which led to the fourth door, the room itself. Unlike the other doors, this one needed a “trick”: turning the key while pulling the handle really hard. It seemed broken. The “receptionist” opened it and went back to his office. About 20-30 minutes later, I needed to speak with him, so I left the room. The room door didn't lock automatically, so I had to lock my children inside. I also didn't feel comfortable leaving it unlocked with a man outside our room who could get to them. When I went downstairs, the “receptionist” had turned off the lights and left. I went back up, but this time I couldn't open the third door no matter how hard I tried or what I did. I panicked because I was locked out from my children. I called the check-in man, who was extremely rude. He told me to see the receptionist, and I said the man was gone and I was locked out from my children. After going back and forth, he finally asked if I wanted him to come over. I told him again I was locked out from my children and that he needed to come now. When he arrived, he was nasty and rude, opened the door, and tried to leave. I told him to stay and make sure I could use it comfortably. He waited impatiently and left. I no longer felt safe or comfortable with that door, so I booked another hotel, left, and messaged him that I'd checked out. The staff were very rude, this place was disgusting, and it is not a hotel. If you're in Rome, don't book this dump. 0/10, I do not recommend!

I was glad to find a comfortable, cozy quadruple room for my friends and me near the Vatican, and it was within my budget. On the last day, after I asked the manager, they offered us a free upgrade to an apartment with a kitchen. Reception staff were polite, and the room was cleaned properly every day. It made the trip much easier, and I was satisfied.

The room was clean and nice, and the receptionist was helpful and quick to respond whenever I had a question or needed assistance. The location is excellent near the Vatican, in a quiet area with shopping and other things you might need close by. The promised city view wasn't there, though. I'd still recommend it for a future trip to Rome, Italy.

The service was really nice, and the small, quaint room suited us perfectly. It had a mini fridge and air conditioning, which was a godsend in July. The shower was tiny and the bathroom smelled of mildew, but for the price it was just what we needed.
