The room was cleaned perfectly every day, and the staff were friendly and quick to help whenever a question or problem came up. The central location made it easy to reach the attractions, about a 5 to 30 minute walk. I’d happily stay here again on another trip to Rome.

The staff were friendly, but this place felt dangerous to me. The stairs are uneven and oddly sized, and the floor covering is so slippery that one wrong step could send you tumbling. There’s no elevator, so anyone with mobility issues should avoid it. The bathroom fixtures are rusty and spray water everywhere, and the beds feel like concrete.

We spent five nights here with the family. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and they cleaned it every day. The staff were all very friendly. It’s only about 100 meters from the Spanish Steps, and getting to the Vatican by metro is easy. The little indoor stairs were the one drawback, though we understood that they come with the historic building. Thanks to all the staff.

This is not a hotel. I’m saying that because I saw reviewers call it luxury, and it’s nowhere near that. The accommodation barely reaches three stars, and the property isn’t well maintained, with scuffed stairwells and no elevator. Carrying luggage up to the third floor was awful, and there was no help. At over $600 a night, it was a terrible decision for me. The price and 4.5-star reviews gave me the wrong impression. It feels like they’re charging a captive audience. Highway robbery and shameful.
