Our Airbnb host pointed us to this pizza place, where he goes with other locals. Most customers seemed to be local too, though more visitors are finding it. The staff spoke to us only in Italian. The pizzas were very good, just as you’d expect, thin and crisp. It’s casual, no-frills, and definitely worth a visit.

After a stay at another hotel that was more than just bad, coming here was such a relief. The host was open-minded, helpful, polite, and genuinely nice. The room was comfortable and really clean, and the service was great. He provides cookies and cards for a free breakfast throughout your stay. You’re close to nearly all the sightseeing spots, and the metro is only a few metres away. I also loved the entrance: discreet but beautiful, with clean old wooden planks and lovely stone steps leading up to the main staircase.

We had everything we needed nearby, and the Vatican was only five minutes from the accommodation. The metro was three minutes away for getting around. Tommaso was a great host, and the room was clean, comfortable, and had lots of facilities. The only thing I’d suggest is bringing earplugs, since it’s on a busy road. We recommend il leoncino 100%. Thanks for having us!
