We checked out and found another hotel after taking pictures of the room. It was dirty, with crumbs on the windowsill, marks on the walls and sheets, and an unclean bathroom. When we told the receptionist, he tried several times to reach the manager but couldn’t. His only suggestion was that we stay the night and maybe move to another room the next day. Afterward, we messaged the manager on WhatsApp for a few days. He seemed unable to understand that only he could cancel the Booking reservation, not us. We also contacted Booking customer service several times, but he rejected every request they sent. We got no money back, and he later claimed that he’d offered several solutions before checkout and that we shouldn’t expect a “star hotel.” I don’t know where the positive reviews come from. The pictures here show only a few flattering angles, in my view.

Being close to Termini made it easy to get around Rome, especially since we arrived very late. The staff were kind and looked after us, including letting us store our luggage for free. Our room was clean and comfortable, and having breakfast brought to the room was a lovely way to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at Sesto Suites Central. Highly recommended, and thank you!

The location was incredible, with major sights within walking distance and bars and restaurants downstairs. I also loved the cool interior design. Everyone on staff was kind and seemed to genuinely care, checking in with me each day and making sure I was comfortable. The room was amazing too, with great air conditioning, bedding, and lamps. I felt lucky to have picked this place.

The photos didn’t match what we found, and the place was filthy, smelled bad throughout, and felt completely uninhabitable. We immediately asked for the conditions to be improved or to be moved. The host offered to refund the whole stay, but when we contacted Booking to arrange it, they said they had no such authorization. It feels like a scam. We’re still filing a claim. I’d tell people to avoid this place and spare themselves the stress and disappointment. There are much better options.

Three nights here, and the location was spot on, about 100 metres from roma termini. The receptionist was excellent and the cleaning was good. Breakfast was mostly packaged food, with some fresh croissants and fruit. It’s reasonably priced and good value. I’d recommend it.
