If seeing Rome is the priority, this place makes a lot of sense. You’re right beside the Colosseum, which is its standout feature. There are pricier, more luxurious hotels, but they’re a better fit if you plan to spend much of your trip in the room. Just be aware it’s on the second floor and there’s no lift, so you’ll need to use the stairs.

The team were lovely from the booking stage onward. I messaged them with questions before we arrived, and they were kind and helpful. Romeo welcomed us and quickly sorted out a few things we mentioned. Dave was also a great help. You’re very close to the Colosseum, with a bus stop nearby. There are two shops about 50 metres away. Skip the one on the corner: the people at the next shop were nice, and six 1.5-litre bottles of water cost €4.50 there, while the first shop asked for €10 for the same thing. Rome is beautiful, enjoy it ❤️

Getting back to the airport was easy thanks to the efficient taxi arranged by the hotel, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The room was fresh, clean, and comfortable after a day out. You can walk to the Colosseum and other main sights from here. For what it costs, it’s good value, and I’d recommend it to people visiting Rome.

We had booked four nights through Booking. Two days before the trip, the hotel said our card wasn’t valid, which seemed odd since we’d used it at other hotels in Europe without trouble. I entered another card that same day, and the hotel sent a confirmation, so our whole family was excited about Rome. Then, the day before our flight, they cancelled the booking, saying “the maximum number of update attempts (1) has been reached.” We were left without a hotel less than 24 hours before flying. LOW CREDIBILITY. NO COMPROMISE WITH CLIENTS. BAD SERVICE.
