Inside Roma Rooms

The room was clean and the location is convenient. My parents loved the nearby restaurants, and Matteo was very kind and provided excellent service.

The website said check-in ended at 7pm, and I could have arrived before then, just not by 3pm. I had a full trip planned, but was told at extremely short notice that check-in would end at 3pm. I tried changing my schedule to fit, but couldn't get there in time because I was traveling from far away. The staff wouldn't work with my schedule or waive the cancellation fee, even though the hotel was at fault. I should have been told more than a week ahead so I could plan around it, not the day before. Now I'm stuck paying for their mistake. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. They weren't understanding or willing to accommodate me.

The bathrooms are a little small, but the quality of everything else more than makes up for it. We especially appreciated the AC during the 30degC heat in late September. It's a great spot in a nice part of Rome, with local bars and restaurants close by and the metro handy for getting to the more central areas. Great rooms and host too. Highly recommended.

The owner was really kind and helpful, and our clean room had a very comfortable bed. The building and neighborhood were both great, near Vatican City and with easy access to the center. Five stars for the location. I'd definitely book again if it's available.
