Joe Litty Guesthouse

The room looked new inside despite being in an older building, and check-in was straightforward. The location is handy too, just outside Roma Termini, with supermarkets, a food court, and several stations nearby for getting around the city. They provide towels in a few sizes, and there’s coffee and other utensils. My main issue was the drainage: water lingered in both the bidet and sink, which made them look dirty. The shower pressure was a little weak, but still okay.

The room itself was clean and newly done, right across from Termini Station, but I wouldn’t come back. From our first day, the bathroom and kitchen faucets were clogged, so we couldn’t use them. We ended up brushing our teeth and washing dishes and glasses in the bathtub. They offered another room only on our last day of a three-night stay, so moving for one night didn’t seem worthwhile. There was no ventilation, and we couldn’t cook. The heating either didn’t work or we weren’t told how to operate it. Contact with the person responsible for the rooms went through a company WhatsApp number, and replies, visits, and attempts to clear the drains all took a long time. Quite a mess.

We’d read some poor reviews and arrived a little unsure, but our stay at Joe Litty Rooms turned out to be excellent. The room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, a nice place to unwind after walking around Rome. It was also in a convenient spot and had a peaceful atmosphere. Communication was friendly, clear, and quick from the start, and they helped with everything we needed. We had no problems at all, so some of the negative reviews were hard for us to understand. Everything was 10/10 and beyond what we expected. We’d happily return and recommend it. Thanks for making us feel so comfortable and for taking such good care of us.

We had a great room, and the bathroom was fine, but the shower leaked whenever we used it. It wasn’t sealed properly, which made showering a hassle. They should take a look at it.
