La Finestra Sul Colosseo

Jason was professional and always greeted guests with a smile. The B&B has a lovely mix of luxury and minimalism for the price, plus a view toward the Colosseum. I’ll pick it again when I’m back in Rome, unless it’s already fully booked.

Jason was wonderful about looking after us, and even arranged our cab to the airport. Breakfast was great, especially the cappuccinos and a delicious juice, maybe orange or blood orange, I’m not sure which. The building felt safe, and our room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom and shower. The Colosseum and Roman Forum are close, though Rome is so spread out that plenty of other places aren’t right nearby.

It was easy to walk to the Coliseum and that area, and small markets nearby made it simple to pick up drinks. There’s also a little fridge in the room, and getting a taxi through an app was straightforward. The room had a large, very clean bedroom and bathroom, a roomy modern shower, plenty of counter space and good lighting. Jason was friendly and helpful during our six-night stay. Breakfast came to the room, with fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice and other drinks. The AC worked wonderfully, and having a lift to our floor was a big bonus. I’d definitely stay here again.

We chose this place for our Rome honeymoon and were glad we did. The room was large, the furnishings nicely updated, and breakfast was lovely and filling. Jason was a lovely host, and the daily cleaning was better than what we’ve had at Airbnb stays. The AC is especially good, and trust me, you need it. I’d recommend this place to friends.
