I’d read a review saying guests sent to a separate building from the main hotel would find it rundown and awful. I was moved there myself, and that review was completely wrong. Our building was just as beautiful, with stylish, modern decor and a great location. The farthest landmark was only a short metro ride away. The staff were lovely and very friendly, our room was impeccably clean, and the window had a gorgeous view. The bathroom was modern, with a roomy shower and hairdryer. Everything about the stay was fantastic, and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Rome.

Being close to Termini made it easy to get anywhere quickly. The staff were a big help, especially Diego, who spoke our language fluently, Greek, and guided us through everything. The hotel felt luxurious, and the rooms were clean and tidy. Everyone wore masks, and the hygiene was even better than we’d expected. Now that we know about this gem in Rome, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My partner brought me here for my birthday, and we had a fabulous time. It’s a small place, but most attractions are walkable from the hotel. The reception staff were fantastic, and breakfast was continental. If you can, ask for a balcony facing the church and high street for lovely views both day and night. Ask for Otis when you arrive, too. He’ll point you toward the best sights if you’re short on time, and recommend restaurants where you can avoid the usual tourist price markups of 20% or more. Can’t wait to come back!

The address was changed at the last minute, and when we arrived we realized this was a different property from the hotel we had booked. It was a bed and breakfast apartment, not a hotel, and nobody was there to meet us. I called the hotel number and got instructions to enter. I told them the room looked nothing like our booking. They said they’d given us an “upgrade” with a balcony, but hadn’t told us the hotel was apparently full or checked with us before sending us somewhere else entirely. The room looked shabby, and when I pointed out that the sheets were dirty, they didn’t care or do anything about it. It didn’t resemble the place or standard we’d booked, and I kept asking for the room we were meant to have. We’d never have booked a room or property like that. They ignored all my messages, apart from reminding us when to check out the next day. At checkout, they wanted to charge the full price, with no understanding of our situation. After a difficult argument over the rate, and being threatened with a police call if we didn’t pay, we paid. They also charged a much higher city tax than what’s usual for a 3-star hotel in Italy. A mistake could have been sorted out with honest communication, but instead they treated their guests like fools. We left speechless and can’t recommend staying here. Rude, dirty and dishonest.
