Le Stanze di Elle

We were very happy with the quiet, clean, comfortable room. It felt modern, and the waterfall shower was great. The air conditioning was a welcome relief after a day in 30-degree heat. The location near Manzoni station was fantastic, with the Colosseum about a 15-minute walk away. Antonella sent the access instructions in advance and answered our questions. She was a perfect host. We love Rome and will stay here again, and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you, Antonella!

The shared coffee machine and microwave were handy, and the place was very clean and close to many attractions. It seems better suited to couples than families, especially those with children under five. The lift is tiny, so a pram won't fit; since the room is on the second floor, we had to carry ours up each time. Breakfast was just coffee and a croissant, fine for one day.

The rooms are clean and in reasonable shape, though they don't look newly renovated or decades old. I'd guess the renovation was 7-10 years ago. The location is great. Sound carries between rooms, though; I could actually hear the people next door sneeze, so bring earplugs.

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and clean the room was, and how easy it was to reach by metro. The station is just down the road, with restaurants on the same street and more within a five-minute walk. Eleonora was a fantastic host, helping arrange our airport transfer and answering my questions about attractions. The spacious room was spotless, with a shabby-chic look and a great bathroom and shower. It also had a TV, free Wi-Fi, mini fridge, and air conditioning. I usually worry about city noise, but the good windows kept it quiet and we slept well. I'd definitely recommend it.
