Liberty House

The location made it easy to explore on foot, with Castel Sant'Angelo just steps away and the historic center and Rome's main sights within walking distance. The neighborhood itself was quiet but had plenty of restaurants, bars, and services. Communication with the host was friendly and prompt. Inside, the recently renovated apartment was bright, spacious, and tastefully furnished. It had three very comfortable bedrooms, good for a family or a group of friends. It was impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The mattresses were excellent. We were very satisfied and would gladly return. One small suggestion: check the electrical outlet in the first bedroom.

There were five adults and three babies, and the house was spacious enough to be very comfortable for us. Its location is exceptional, and the owner was kind enough to arrange our trip back to the airport. The house itself is very old, though, and the mattresses were terrible. You sink into them and the springs press into you.

The photos seem to be from years ago, so be wary of them. The apartment was old, smelled bad, and was poorly maintained. One of the three bathrooms was filthy and flooded. We told the owner, but they didn't apologize or do anything about it. The wiring and sockets weren't up to standard, with loose wires. There isn't a reception desk, though they do provide check-in and check-out instructions. I wouldn't recommend staying here, aside from the location, and there are plenty of other places in the area. Zero rating.

A small supermarket is next door, the pharmacy is across the street, and there's a little café diagonally opposite where I'd suggest going for a morning cappuccino. The Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo are a short walk away. The area was relatively quiet, and the apartment had a small balcony at the back. It was clean and tidy, with solid furnishings, lots of space, and quite respectable comfort. We had a minor Wi-Fi problem, but the owner sorted it out quickly and easily. An ideal place in Rome for 6-8 people.
