The staff were really friendly, and our room was nice and tidy. We stayed at Hotel Lodi for four days and were very satisfied. It’s in a great spot, just a five-minute walk from Lodi metro station. I’d definitely book it again if I return to Rome.

Breakfast was barely available whenever I went down, since they didn't refill it, and €7 felt way too much for what was on offer, maybe €2 worth. When I raised it, the receptionist seemed irritated and made me feel like I was the problem. The rooms are tiny, the staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested, and there was no cutlery. Cleaning was poor and it was noisy. A complete waste of money, I wouldn't recommend it.

I booked through EXPEDIA and paid extra for the option to cancel within three months. I cancelled just 24 hours after making the reservation, but EXPEDIA didn't help, and the hotel refused both a refund and to restore the reservation. I feel like I was robbed, with no way to sort it out. I've never experienced anything like this. They seem dishonest, and now I don't want to stay there. It even makes me wonder whether everyone is the same. Stay away!

The building is old and sits beside a busy road, and the window did nothing to block the sound. I got no sleep. The staff were kind of unfriendly, and breakfast cost too much. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I paid in full, cancelled 24 hours after booking, and lost my money. They wouldn't refund me or put the reservation back, and when I tried to contact them, I got no reply. They call it a strict policy, but it felt dishonest to me. Please choose another hotel if you don't want this to happen to you. Stay away!
