The reception area was the only part that felt like a hotel. Beyond it, the place reminded me more of a hospital. My friend and I stayed two nights, and it was disappointing: uncomfortable bedding, no proper duvets, just random blankets stuffed into sheets that weren't fitted properly. The floors were dirty, the bathroom door had no lock, and the walls were thin. Just horrible, basically. Stay somewhere else, literally anywhere else lol.

The included breakfast was a delight, and we loved the service and rooms at Ludovisi Palace Hotel. We could walk to the Trevi Fountain, Panthion and Spanish Steps. There was also a great restaurant just steps away on the corner down the street. We highly recommend staying there.

The rooms were spacious and air conditioned, with big bathrooms that had either a shower or a tub. There were large windows for fresh air if you wanted it. It's a nice boutique hotel, centrally placed for walking to cultural attractions and shops, with public transportation easy to reach.

We chose this hotel mainly because parking is available in the area, since not many places can be reached by car. The rooms are small, which is typical for Rome, but I was unlucky enough to get one facing the poor-looking building opposite. They also gave me a handicap room, and my friend and I couldn't even get rooms on the same floor. The reception staff didn't seem to care about our complaints. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel, and I'm glad we only have to stay one night. You might be luckier choosing another good hotel in Rome. I'm uploading pictures of the great view from my room.

Breakfast was wonderful, especially the chocolate-filled croissant and cappuccino. The hotel is beautiful and well located, with public transportation easy to catch and the old city wall not far away.
