Luxury on the River

We stayed at LOR in August 2025, and the location was awesome. It was walkable to every tourist spot, with great restaurants around the Vatican. Lusia welcomed us at reception and was friendly and professional. She talked us through Rome with a map, which made the trip less cumbersome and was really helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries, and the kitchen was well equipped. Check-in and check-out were very easy. A great experience.

Luisa made our late check-in hassle free. I was stressing about how late we'd arrive, but talking with her put me at ease, and she made our stay amazing. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning, the best I've had in Europe. The location was great too, walkable to all the places we wanted to explore. When I come back to Rome, I'll definitely stay here again for the hospitality.

The neighborhood felt very safe, with lots of good restaurants nearby. It's easy to reach several metro stations and bus stops for Rome's center and other interesting spots. The space was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. My partner and I had a pleasant, easy stay and thought it was good value. Luisa was also great, replying to emails quickly and providing great service. I'd consider coming back if I return to Rome. A couple of things could be better. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, as others have mentioned, and the interior walls were thin enough that we could hear a lot from the hallways and main entry. In our room, the bathroom area had no proper ceiling, so there wasn't much sound privacy. We weren't bothered by that, since we're comfortable with each other, but I can imagine it would bother some people. I'm not sure whether all the rooms or suites have that setup.

The walls are extremely thin. A rowdy group in the room next door partied until 4am, and they might as well have been in our room. The hotel itself was decent.
