There was dirt everywhere, and I’ve never seen a room so filthy. My photos speak for themselves. The owner is absent and cunning, and there were other problems too, including a leaking sink and dirty towels. They wouldn’t let us in early because they said sanitizing for COVID would take a long time, but it looked like years of dirt had built up. I’ll leave it there, since I’m a polite person. Absolutely avoid.

The staff were very friendly, but the bathroom was small and the shower stall cramped and narrow. I had to take a cold shower. After a day of sightseeing in Rome, I collapsed into bed and found huge yellow stains and smudges on the sheets, which may have been washed and ironed. Breakfast is available at the bar downstairs for up to €2. If you want to eat a bit more, you have to pay the difference. There was clearly no chance of a refund.

The location worked well, and the rates were fairly low. The owner was welcoming and friendly, so it felt comfortable enough, as long as you don't expect too much. I'd say it's a better fit as a place to sleep for a night or two.

There were problems with cleanliness and hot water, and the breakfast at the café on the street was poor. The management seemed neglectful. I’d avoid this place if you can.
