I loved having my own ensuite room in this tidy, cosy apartment. The hosts were really helpful and replied to texts within minutes. It felt better than a hotel. The neighborhood is calm and the city center is nearby. There’s a bus stop close by, and both Ottaviano and Cipro metro stations are about a 15-minute walk away. A Vodafone shop is 50 meters away if you need a SIM, and the nearby Express supermarket stays open until 10:00 p.m.

The rooms were nice, but there was no air conditioning. With no reception, getting in touch with Allesandra was tricky. She said she’d meet us at 4:00, but I had to call her at 4:30. The directions weren’t very clear either.

I wouldn’t book this place again. The owner was absent during our stay. We saw her at the start when we paid, then only got a text from her at the end. The old windows didn’t shut properly, and traffic noise made it hard to sleep.

It’s about 1,000 meters from the Vatican, 1,200 from Foro Italico, and 200 from the courthouse. The place feels new and refined, and it’s kept clean and in good condition. There are thoughtful details too, like a roomy double shower, a socket by the bedside table, and a 32-inch TV.
