For Rome, where stays in or near the center are generally expensive, we got a few nights here at a relatively low discounted rate compared with nearby places. I wouldn't personally pay the usual price. The room was good and the shower was great, though the Wi-Fi was mediocre. The elevator works, but it's tiny, not big enough for two people plus a baby and stroller.

We spent five days here and everything was fine. The room is well located, with everything nearby. We only took the metro once, to get to Vaticano, and Villa Borghese is close by for a nice walk. When we arrived, the receptionist gave us maps and pointed out the supermarket, metro station, restaurants, and other places. Whenever we had questions, they replied right away.

Finding the hotel was really difficult. I'd booked early check-in because my flight was overnight, and they accepted it. But when I got there, I found a message sent a couple of hours earlier saying it wasn't possible. I was stuck outside with my luggage after 32 hours without sleep. When I tried to talk to the operator, they said they'd report me to Booking. Fine, I've booked 50 times a year for 10 years, but somehow I'm the problem. The service was terrible. Avoid it at all costs.

The room was small but felt homely, and it was clean. Good location, and the owner gave great advice. The staff went above and beyond.

The room was dirty, worn out, and in terrible shape, with mold on the walls. It looked nothing like the Booking photos, and the owner was rude. Absolutely disgusting. I can't recommend it to anyone who cares about basic standards.
