Getting to Vatican took only a few minutes, and the security setup felt great: separate keys for the room, hotel entrance and building entrance, plus a lockable drawer for valuables. Just remember to take that drawer key with you when you leave. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen is available to guests as long as you clean up after yourself. There was also a smart TV and an interesting elevator.

We found plenty nearby, including restaurants, pizzerias, little drink shops and a supermarket open 24/7. Cipro metro is a few minutes away on foot, and it takes about fifteen minutes to reach the old center. For the price, it made a great base for exploring Rome, and we'd happily stay again. We were there in March, in a blue room with a maritime theme and a private bathroom. Roberte welcomed us and showed us around. The apartment is in a standard apartment building, with four rooms and a shared kitchen and dining area. Before the trip, the owner was quick and helpful to contact. Our room was spacious and simply furnished with the things we needed: a bed, sofa bed, desk and safe, wardrobe, bedside tables, hairdryer and air conditioning. Everything was clean and worked well. The metal bed frame had a slatted base and spring mattress, and my 196 cm tall husband fit, though anyone over 2 meters might not be comfortable. Street and neighboring apartment noise came through, but earplugs helped, which is what you expect in a city apartment.

We found shops and restaurants nearby, and the metro was a five-minute ride away. The Vatican Museums were close too. We spent three nights at Mirò, where the staff were very friendly and gave us coffee capsules for free. Our apartment had four rooms, each with its own bathroom. Ours was large, with a balcony, air conditioning, safe and TV. The bathroom had a shower, towels, soap and hairdryer. There was a well-equipped shared kitchen with dining space. The place was generally pleasant and clean. I highly recommend it.
