The hosts were kind and polite, and the place was fairly clean. Shops and supermarkets are close by, as is the metro. I would have rated it five stars if the noise issue were fixed and breakfast included something besides sweets. I know sweets are typical for an Italian breakfast, but giving them to small children in the morning didn't seem like the wisest choice :D

I don't think I'll come back, especially given the price for one night and the service. I was surprised they asked for cash when I had entered my credit card details on the Edreams website where I booked. Breakfast amounted to a snack and coffee. The managers let me know promptly when I reported that there was no hot water, and said they could fix it the next day, though I was only staying one night. I had to take a freezing shower, and there was a lot of dirt and hair from previous guests caught in the showerhead. It wasn't a particularly positive stay.

A nightmare. The room had a strong smoke smell that barely eased after I left the windows open for an hour, even though I'm not a smoker. The curtains may never have been changed, and the room cleanliness was only just above mediocre. I got no help beyond an apology. There was no heating. The heat pumps had no remote, so after opening the windows to try to clear the smell, I couldn't turn on the air conditioning. I was told to wait for the shared heating to be switched on. At first the clerk offered €50, then called back a few minutes later and changed that to a 20% discount. I accepted because all the hotels were already booked.
