The location is what made me rate it four stars, even though I’d honestly give it three for the price and services. It’s right in central Rome: the Colosseum is a five-minute walk, di Trevi takes ten minutes on foot, and Borghese is five minutes by bus. Cavour Metro and Termini railway station are close too. There’s free Wi-Fi at a decent speed, plus lots of pretty little osterias downstairs and bars and cafés for brunch. I enjoyed my stay, and the place is good, but staff communication was a bit mixed and housekeeping didn’t happen daily. Maybe they were just busy when I visited, but they could use a couple more people. I’d recommend it mainly if you don’t have a car, since parking is hard to find. One thing to know: breakfast is only espresso and a croissant, and there are plenty of other breakfast spots.

Fantastic spot, with everything close by. It’s a short walk or one Metro stop from the station, and about a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum. Restaurants are everywhere. The place has Wi-Fi, AC and good beds. Monte 1 has two bathrooms, though I’m not sure about the other rooms. Great value!

Comfortable, clean, and felt safe. It’s close to the train station. Breakfast is served buffet-style, though it’s at another guest house they manage.

The room was hard to sleep in. You could hear everything happening next door through the very thin walls, and the bathroom was tiny. On arrival the toilet was dirty, too. Then the receptionist walked right into my room to see if it was empty. Isn’t there paperwork showing that someone is staying there? Awful.
