My Secret Spagna was far better than I expected, from the breakfast to the rooms and the rest of the place. It’s right on the Spanish Square, but still felt quiet and private. The room looked just like the photos, and both gentlemen who helped us were kind and extremely helpful. I’d only noticed a little rubbish by the front door on our first arrival, and it was simply waiting to be collected. I’d read the reviews about cleanliness and customer service, so I was a bit sceptical, but the whole place was impeccable and I didn’t have the issues those reviews described. It was a fabulous stay, and I’ll definitely be back. I’ll recommend My Secret Spagna to anyone visiting Rome.

The flat wasn’t at the location we were promised, so we had to walk to the office and carry our luggage ourselves to the other place. That was disappointing and not what we expected. The flat was also dirty, and there’s no elevator. It has potential, but make sure they’ve improved it before you book.

Just off the square, so the location was good without being busy or noisy. The hotel was nice and modern, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast basket was decent.

We flew in from London and stayed here in Oct 17 for a day-and-a-half trip. The hotel was lovely and private, and we really liked our room and balcony.
