6/10
The location is phenomenal, and the hotel was very clean. I was only there briefly, so it's a bit hard to review, but the quality had some real problems. I arrived after 10 pm, when there was no staff on site. The instructions sent me to a partner hotel for the key, but they told me I didn't need to go there because there was a lock box. The team were polite and helpful, though the communication could be clearer. My room door was effectively broken. After I called for help late at night, I was told to lean into it and shove before swiping the key. It seemed like a known issue, so I don't understand why it hadn't been fixed. There were bits of metal fixture on the shower floor, and when I added milk to my morning tea, white bits floated in the cup. I'd be fine staying again for a very short trip, but wouldn't recommend it for a weekend break. The quality just wasn't there.

The location is the big draw at Navona Theatre Hotel. It's just steps from Rome's historic center, making it an easy base for sightseeing, eating out, and exploring on foot. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially housekeeping, who kept everything clean and welcoming. We didn't try breakfast, but appreciated the help we got when needed. The building has some charming touches, particularly the corridor architecture. A couple of benches or small tables outside the entrance would be a nice improvement for guests waiting for someone. It's a solid three-star stay in a prime spot, with helpful service and room to improve.

The breakfast buffet was incredible and worth every penny. The hotel is centrally located, with lots to do just a short walk away, and the front desk staff were very helpful. We had a great stay.

Housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making up the room every day, even with all the luggage and mess we left behind. Sorry about that! The hotel is central and relatively low cost for its location and service. I'd gladly stay again.

There's a wide choice of good restaurants close by, and the hotel is central to most places around Rome. The area was very quiet at night. Rooms were clean and well appointed, breakfast had an excellent range of choices, and the staff were really helpful. As we visited different parts of the city, we appreciated the location more and more. Highly recommended.
