Nazionale 51 - Group

We were part of a large group of rugby supporters visiting Rome for the weekend, and I’d be very happy to stay here again. It’s in a great spot, with a taxi rank across the road and good bars and restaurants nearby. The Colleseum is about a 15-minute walk away. Our room was on the fourth floor at the back of the property, so it was nice and quiet. It was well equipped and very clean, with a comfortable bed, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, and a modern bathroom and shower. This is guest house style accommodation in a building shared with another hotel, which was a bit confusing at first, but we found our way in the end.

There were seven of us, and it felt like a family home. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean and had all the mod cons, and the balconies were lovely. The hot showers had great pressure. Breakfast is €5 per person at the hotel downstairs. The Colosseum is about a 10-minute walk away, with great restaurants all around. I wouldn’t bother with the buses unless you have to, walking is quicker. There’s a Legami shop just down the road if you're a fan. The pillows could've been softer, and the lift is small, but I’m being picky!

The staff upgraded us to a room with a balcony, which we really appreciated. It's an ideally located, decent guest house hotel, not far from the ancient sites and the charming Monti neighborhood. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and had basic amenities. The rooms face a busy main road, so it can get quite noisy when ambulances pass every few hours. The shower water also takes a while to heat up.

The rooms were nice, the staff were great, and the location was perfect, close to everything. The one frustrating part came after we’d checked in and paid. Staff contacted us to say we still owed money because their colleague had charged us incorrectly. Since the desk closes at a certain time, we had to change our plans and come back early one night to pay the difference. It was inconvenient and could've been handled differently. Aside from that, it was a great stay.
