Nights in Rome Guest House

We spent five days and four nights at Nights in Rome and had no complaints. It’s a great place to stay, only a four-minute walk from Rome Train station. The owners kept in touch before we arrived with instructions for getting into the building, and entry and using the elevator were easy. They met us and check-in went smoothly. Andrea shared lots of useful local knowledge, from sights and a restaurant to a market and areas to avoid because of some of the inhabitants. The old building had no issues, and the rooms, lobby, and whole area were extremely clean, with staff cleaning regularly. They worked around what time we needed the room cleaned, whether we were heading out early or later in the morning. The terrace was a quiet, relaxing place for a Birra Moretti or a glass of wine. Simone also called the hotel in Fiumicino to check when we could check in, and told us about the SIT bus to Fiumicino square, close to where we were staying. I’ll definitely stay with them again. It felt like a real Roman place, warm and authentic, with a great location. Nights in Rome is right by Termini station and close to the sights around the city. It’s family-run, and everyone was genuinely kind and helpful. Everything was clean, and the old building has plenty of Roman charm. Even the elevator had its funny moments, which added to the character. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it if you want somewhere cozy and authentic.

I stayed for five nights and six days. The staff were patient, and although I didn’t know the language they spoke, they did know how to help. Still, they never checked whether everything was alright or if I needed anything, which made me feel as if guests didn’t matter to them. There was one day with no water from the taps or in the bathroom for over two hours. The air conditioner worked fairly well for cooling, but was weak otherwise. The elevator sometimes didn’t work, meaning you could have to go up and down five floors, which isn’t manageable for everyone. The location is good, close to Termini and the nearby area. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for many days. In my opinion, it might suit someone for one night at most. Think twice before booking. I didn’t enjoy this hotel very much.

The owners and staff were lovely and helpful. They marked their recommendations on a map and explained the best ways to get around, and even left Easter eggs in our room during the holiday, which was sweet. The place is good for the price, especially given how close it is to the bus, train, and metro stations. Our room was tidy but small and had no windows, which didn’t bother us much since we barely spent time there. The walls are thin, so we could hear other guests and reception clearly because our room was nearby. At night, though, it was pretty quiet and we slept well. It’s a good choice if you’ll mostly be in the room just to sleep.
