There are plenty of restaurants, grocery shops, gelaterias, and pizzerias nearby, and some attractions are close too. The area felt safe, and the place itself was quiet. My room was lovely and cleaned daily. The staff were friendly and made sure I had what I needed throughout my four nights. I also really liked the cool elevator. I’d stay here again when I’m back in Rome.

My room was nicely presented and a very good standard, with a Nespresso machine, kettle, and the usual features. There was no iron, though, and while the room was cleaned daily, I never saw any staff. It’s easy to miss the entrance: just two huge wooden doors, with no clear sign that rooms are inside. This isn’t a hotel, but a set of rooms in a building with other uses. You need a code for the main entrance, then take the lift or stairs to the fourth floor and use another code to reach a small lobby with around six or eight rooms. There’s no staff on site. I was there for a nearby conference, and the location suited me perfectly. Since there’s no bar or restaurant, I went out for breakfast and dinner, but there are loads of choices close by. A great spot, and I’d recommend it as long as you know it’s just rooms, not a hotel.

The place had a lovely authentic Italian feel, and my room was comfortable, clean, and well looked after. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. It’s also in a great spot near the main attractions. I had an excellent stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

The main drawbacks were the shower’s trouble with warm water, barely any storage, and very thin walls that let in a lot of noise. Still, the guesthouse is lovely, with modern, comfortable rooms and nice amenities. I’d recommend it otherwise.
