Oasi San Francesco Hotel

The meals were tasty and unlimited, and the way they served them made me feel at home. The receptionist welcomed me with a great smile. It felt like a safe, friendly place with hospitality that gave me more than I expected for what I paid.

Even after we'd checked out, Giovanni at reception tracked down a passport we'd misplaced in one of our rooms and personally took it to the airport when no taxi was immediately available. That kind of help capped off a stay full of friendly, attentive service. We booked at the last minute after finding our original hotel in poor condition, with a bad smell and flies. We arrived late in the evening, but reception and kitchen staff were accommodating and kept the kitchen open so we could have dinner. Everyone was helpful throughout. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, each with an en suite shower room.

The rooms were awful, and the food and service were just as bad. The pasta wasn't fully cooked. The mattresses were so hard that even the floor felt more comfortable. There was only one power outlet, and the closet was very high with no shelves.

I spent a few days here in September. The rooms were very good, and the service was great. I'd definitely choose this hotel again.
