Obelisco Popolo

The staff were quick to sort out a problem with the electronics in our room, and helped me get through the building and room doors when I struggled with the technology. They also arranged to receive our luggage after the airline delayed delivering it. The location is excellent, with Rome’s must-see sights just steps away. I’d highly recommend the place and stay here again on our next trip to Italy.

Goody across the street is a great breakfast stop, and Popolo Cafe down the road worked well for dinner. Restaurants here were cheaper and less crowded than the ones I usually find when I stay right in the centre, though everything was still within walking distance. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The morning staff were friendly and helpful, and having tea-making facilities in the room was a nice touch.

I didn’t see any service staff while I was there. The neighborhood itself felt safe and was pleasantly quiet, and the location was great for Piazza del Popolo, the metro, and other main attractions. Our room met expectations, with a spacious bathroom and good-sized beds.

The room matched the photos and felt very cozy. The hosts were kind, responsive, and helpful, and the metro was only a few metres away. It’s close to the centre without being in a noisy area.
