The value just wasn't there for the price. At €15 per night it might have seemed fair, but Rome has several better options for what this place costs. The rooms were dirty, and mine smelled as if it hadn't been aired out for days. The shower was literally over the toilet. There was no reception, so I waited 45 minutes for someone to open the door after communicating through WhatsApp. I was told just before arriving that I couldn't pay by card. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It's a peaceful neighborhood in a fantastic location. The Colosseum is only 10 minutes away, and plenty of other monuments are easy to reach on foot. The hosts were incredibly friendly and replied to every question right away. The room wasn't bad, and if you only need somewhere to sleep, it's more than adequate. Highly recommended.

For 5,000 rubles a night, we got a great room with two beds and two showers, plus a rooftop terrace, large TV, microwave, and refrigerator. It was 10 minutes to the train station and about the same to the Coliseum. There's a great pizzeria down the street.

This accommodation was a nightmare, and I absolutely don't recommend it. The place felt like a forgotten, dirty basement, with hardly any daylight and windows facing a wall about 10 cm away. The walls were dirty and cracked, the refrigerator was filthy, and the floor looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed or washed for months. The bathroom, if you can call it that, was dirty and smelly, with a drain for the “shower” next to the toilet. There were months of thick grime on the sink tap, and the bathroom door was broken.
