Orazio Palace Hotel

Without a way to control the temperature, our room got extremely hot, even though we visited in February. Opening the window cooled it down, but the automatic blind had to go all the way up, leaving the room visible from outside. With both shut, it warmed up again quickly. That’s not what I’d expect of a 4-star hotel, and I wonder how uncomfortable the rooms might be in midsummer. We had a pleasant stay otherwise: the hotel is lovely, the area is great, breakfast was very good, and the gym was well equipped. I’d only come back if the rooms had proper air conditioning, so keep this in mind for a summer trip.

We had a fantastic stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and were more than happy to keep our bags after checkout. It’s close to the subway, and the rooftop bar is incredible. Thank you.

What stood out most was the service. The girls at the front desk were warm, professional, and always glad to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Orazio Palace Hotel is also modern, spotless, and in a fantastic location. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

The location was perfect, with piazza del popolo a 15-minute walk away and Castel Sant'Angelo 11 minutes on foot. We’d definitely recommend the hotel and will be back. We were pleased to get into our room early, and they’d upgraded us to a superior room. It was clean and very nice, with a massive, comfortable bed. The receptionists were welcoming, polite, and professional, and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The rooftop bar is worth visiting for the view.
