Otivm Hotel

The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to go the extra mile, which really stood out. Breakfast was included each morning, a thoughtful touch. My room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely presented, with a private balcony and a fantastic view. I had a wonderful time here in Rome and would highly recommend the hotel.

The highlight for us was breakfast on the rooftop terrace: lovely views across Rome, a delicious range of food, and the best cappuccino I’ve had. George was the standout host, such a kind and empathetic person, and his playlist made our mornings feel special. We had an amazing stay at the Otivm Hotel, and the staff were attentive and ready to help throughout.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby had someone on duty around the clock, and they kept our bags after checkout. The front desk could also call a taxi for us. There’s a small shop nearby for groceries and other handy items. The rooms were spacious and clean, with lots of closet room, outlets, and fast WiFi. The bed was comfortable but very firm, and there were plenty of pillows. The bathroom had a hairdryer, small toiletries, and good water pressure and temperature. Rooms also have both air conditioning and heating. Breakfast is light but tasty, with hard-cooked eggs, sausage, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, cereal, and good espresso drinks. The main sights and neighborhoods are within an easy walk, about 15-20 minutes. A wonderful hotel, and I’d recommend it to solo travelers and couples.

We chose this hotel after reading all the great online reviews and came in with high hopes. Its location is very convenient for seeing Rome, and reception were welcoming, friendly, and spoke excellent English, so check-in went smoothly. The bathroom was clean and roomy, but its ventilation seemed not to work. After a hot shower, the humidity lingered for ages. We may simply have had bad luck with the room, but the soundproofing was poor, and opening the window revealed a construction site right outside. The breakfast room was so dim that it was hard to make out the food. I often had to guess from its shape and only found out what I’d taken once I got back to the table. The American coffee, though, was excellent and a nice start to the day.
