PAX Hotel

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m on the way to Venice and found a little time to post this. The best part was the reception. Christine was so welcoming and helpful, and honestly she’s why this gets five stars. Thanks, Rome! The hotel is in a great spot for walking to the main sights. The room was comfortable and had better amenities than expected: free water every day, an expresso machine, fridge, kettle, oven, and microwave if needed.

Just minutes from the Pantheon, so the location is very convenient. The staff are lovely and you can message them on WhatsApp with requests; they’ll do their best to help. They refilled the coffee and water in our room for free every day, and decorated it for our anniversary too. For the price and quality, it’s one of the best in Rome. Highly recommended.

Francisco looked after us really well and was very helpful. We stayed three nights and absolutely loved it. The place is right in the heart of Rome, within walking distance of all the main points of interest. I’d especially recommend it for a shorter trip when you want to see a lot and stay close by.

The main drawback for me was the cost. It was an expensive booking, though I think that’s mostly because it’s in central Rome rather than Fourheads charging too much. I’d stay again if the price were right. It was a great base for exploring on foot, with cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. The room was clean and nicely presented, and came with a fully stocked minibar and fridge. They cleaned it daily and provided fresh bedding and towels. The rooms and staff were both very nice.
