We paid for three nights, but unforeseen circumstances meant we couldn’t arrive on the first night. They cancelled our reservation, rented the room to someone else, and still charged me the full price. The owner was rude and disrespectful, said it wasn’t his problem, and left us on the street. Bad customer service, and it felt like a scam. The response to my review says a lot about their customer service and professionalism. My phone was stolen in Rome, which is why I couldn’t confirm the stay. When we explained that on arrival, the staff offered no help or understanding. The claim that they offered a partial refund is false. Nobody offered one during our interaction. Threatening legal action for defamation was hostile and unwarranted. My review honestly reflects what happened, and I stand by it. That kind of intimidation only damages their reputation. I expect a more reasonable, professional response to these concerns.

The shower was amazing, with five adjustable settings, and the mini fridge was stocked at no charge. There was also a coffee maker with supplies. We had two nights of peaceful comfort, one of the most luxurious stays we’ve enjoyed. Our host met us when we arrived, answered all our questions, and was available whenever we needed anything. I’d give it six stars if I could.

We found the room clean and perfectly fine, and they gave us a €20 discount for the trouble. Still, the main problems could have been avoided if we’d been told about breakfast in advance. It was served in the café downstairs, which opened at 10:30 on Saturday and was closed Sunday, so we missed breakfast both days. The room locker was broken, leaving us unable to secure our valuables. On our last day the key card stopped working, and we waited about 40 minutes for the host to arrive and fix it. Then we had to hurry to the airport.

The host met us at the door and showed us on a map how close the hotel was to the sights. Lots of attractions, including the Vatican, were within walking distance, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The shower and amenities were great, and the modern room had a really comfortable bed. I booked it online at a great price for our 10-year wedding anniversary trip to Rome, and I’ve never had such a good hotel for the money. My wife can be VERY hard to please, but she loved it. Thanks for making our anniversary so enjoyable!
