Francesco at reception was really kind, had a warm smile, and helped so much. He made my stay far less bad than it would’ve been, and deserves a raise. One afternoon he even brought me an espresso at just the right time while I was working. The rest of the experience was rough. The building is very old and badly needs renovation, including the elevator, doors, and some furniture. The doors are tiny, and the elevator is so old and small I worried every time I used it. The room had a kettle but no cups, tea, or utensils. After I took a teabag from breakfast and asked Francesco for a mug, he said I could take one from there. A breakfast worker saw me and shouted, “WHAT? NO! NOT UP TO THE ROOM! NO!” in clear English, right in the crowded dining area. I was mortified, and Francesco was too, so he opened an ancient cupboard full of mismatched glasses. That same breakfast staff member had acted as if she didn’t understand English when I spoke to her. Breakfast is included and relatively good, but the staff made me feel like I was stealing the cappuccino I asked for. There was only ONE staffer for the very busy breakfast, which might explain, but doesn’t excuse, their crass behavior. One of the two women always frowned and looked angry, as if ready to fight. I’d requested a seaview room through Booking.com and initially saw that I’d gotten what I asked for. The day after booking, that detail wasn’t clear anymore. I messaged the hotel to confirm and got no answer, then asked again. They eventually said they were fully booked and couldn’t grant my request, which wasn’t my fault and was disappointing. Daily cleaning was good, but the room needed a deep clean. Check the pictures for examples of dirt hiding in plain sight. Don’t waste your money. Choose an Airbnb or another hotel, even if it costs more. This hotel doesn’t deserve your business.

Right on the beach, it’s a perfectly fine place for a short stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the whole place looks old and worn and really needs a major renovation. Breakfast is included and better than expected, with fresh, tasty pastries. The drinks are cheap, sugary postmix, though the breakfast is fine overall. Staff are kind and speak English well enough.

I can’t understand why this hotel doesn’t have a 5 rating. It’s the best place in this city. The location is wonderful, with sea views, and the shower facilities are amazing. I haven’t seen anything like them elsewhere in Italy, even after visiting every city in the country. The reception team, Francesco and Chiara, are warm no matter where you come from and will choose the best conditions for you. Thank you so much for having your hotel.

For a 3 day trip, it was okay. The location is perfect, and the staff are polite and helpful, but the rooms need updating.
