The rooms, both bedroom and bathroom, weren’t cleaned at all during our 5-day stay. The towels were only changed after a phone negotiation with the owner, and we had to pay a €10 supplement. Damp walls and a half-broken TV remote added to the dirt. Definitely an experience to forget.

There was a shared kitchen in this apartment on the third floor of an older building with no elevator. From the entrance, there was a terrible smell. Our double room door was in awful shape, stained and marked with footprints, and took a hard shove to open or close. Inside were a small table and two chairs, plus two not very clean cushions with cigarette holes. One towel was yellow rather than white. The bathroom had mold and stains on the wall. A sign said not to put ANYTHING in the toilet, so we called the host to ask what it meant. They said toilet paper would clog it and had to go in the very small bathroom bin. We asked whether the apartment would be cleaned, and were told no, so we didn’t know what to do with the used paper in the bin. The owner said, “When you go downstairs, you throw it down; that's NORMAL, I don't think it weighs anything!” No replacement bags were provided. Every time we used a light switch, its frame fell to the floor. I’ve gone on long enough. I attached a photo.

After a 10-hour drive, my girlfriend and I had to clean the apartment, along with our roommates. There was dust everywhere, kitchen drawers were filthy, and the windows were so dirty they looked brown. The furniture was smashed, the walls filthy, bedroom drains didn’t work, trash cans were overflowing, and part of the ceiling was missing in the ensuite bathroom. The stovetop was in terrible shape, the floor was dirty, and the dish drainer above the sink made me gag. When we went to shower, there was no hot water. We called the owner, who helpfully explained how to turn on the boiler and blamed the technician. The owner later got angry and rude over two dirty dishes I left after lunch. He called us “ignorant and rude” and threatened to kick us out. I apologized, since shared spaces should be kept clean, but when I pointed out the apartment’s appalling condition on arrival, he said that was impossible. I sent the video I’d taken as soon as we entered. He then called me nitpicky, said I should have spoken up right away, and blamed the cleaning lady. I’ve stayed in B&Bs for 10 years and have never seen anything like this, it felt like NAS stuff. In my humble opinion, a place should be checked to make sure it’s at least acceptable before rooms are rented. The prices are absurd for a room in a shared apartment. I’d close the place forever if it were up to me. I wouldn’t recommend it even to my worst enemy. I’ve attached some photos my girlfriend took, but couldn’t upload the video. Shameful.

They take the payment upfront with no option to cancel. Then they message to say toilet paper has to go in a special bin instead of the toilet. Disgusting.

Mrs. Sara was so lovely and kind, and the neighbors were friendly. The building was really quiet, and the kitchen was comfortable even with renovations underway. The workers were polite and never intrusive. My family stayed for a week in a double room with our 4-year-old boy and 11-month-old baby. The room and terrace felt very cozy, and the floors and surrounding area were spotless. I even did a dust test with a white rag as soon as I came in, and it stayed white. The doors and bathroom area could use some work, but otherwise we were very comfortable. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to this time. I highly recommend the property.
