The location is great for walking to pretty much everything in Rome, and there are food places everywhere, so finding breakfast is easy. Ornelli's across the street will make eggs if you ask. There’s also a place at "50 via Angelo Poliziano" that offers luggage storage for 5 euro per day and an airport shuttle for 45 euro one way with luggage. Call ahead and getting to or from the airport is easy. For the price, this place is pretty good and the Wifi worked well. Still, I don’t think I’d stay here in very hot weather. There was only one pillow on my queen bed. I didn’t see any breakfast, though I forgot to ask about it. Call the guy ahead of time to get into your room, or you could end up standing on the street.

The room was comfortable and clean, and we had our own bathroom. Communication with David was great, and the place is really close to the colosseum. The only issue was that the room was too hot, though the ventilator made it okay. I’d recommend bringing your own towels and shower gels.

The one good thing is the location, which is handy for all the sights. Otherwise it was very basic. We had no hot water for two days, and there was nobody on site to help. We had no towels at first, then were given ones stained with blood. There were no tea or coffee facilities either. Don’t pay for breakfast. You have to walk half a mile for just a cup of coffee and a cake. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Horrible experience. There was a problem with my reservation, and the hotel left me out on the street because check-in closes at 5:30pm. Neither the agency nor the hotel reimbursed me. The hotel just said, “Don’t come, we’re closed. You can’t get in, and we won’t reimburse you.” I had to book another guest house with my own money. Even though it was late at night, that place sent me instructions on how to get in by WhatsApp.

The building has lovely high ceilings and an elevator, and the location is amazing. The place itself is bare-bones, though, and my bed squeaked loudly. Be sure to tell them when you’ll arrive, and make it by 17:30.
