The only good things were that the receptionist was quite friendly and the shower worked well. I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend, and now we feel scammed. Honestly, I don’t know how it got such good comments. It barely deserves 1 star. The rooms were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the ones they offer, very small and uncomfortable. There’s no elevator, so you have to walk up an inclined stairway. The receptionist at this Asiatic hotel didn’t speak any Italian and knew barely a few words of English, enough for check-in and check-out. There was a horrible odor at reception, and the rooms were damaged, humid and smelled bad too. The half-constructed kitchen wasn’t requested, took up too much space and was useless. The beds were two singles pushed together, even though we asked for one double bed, and they were hard as a ROCK. The sheets were dirty. Heating didn’t work well and turned off automatically during the night in plain Winter. Water leaked from the bottom of the WC when flushed. There was a broken rocking chair in the inner garden, insufficient lighting, and an air conditioner artifact that made annoying sounds. The fridge was dirty and rusty inside. There was a pedestal table on one side of the bed but none on the other, so you had to leave everything on the floor. The rooms were poorly cleaned, with dirty things everywhere. I wouldn’t pay this. Don’t waste your money on this hotel. It’s your decision.

It was nice that the room stayed cool without A.C. We had a pleasant room with a big balcony looking into an inner courtyard, and it was pretty quiet. The furnishings were O.K., though they could have been better maintained.

For the price, the room was okay, and it’s a cheap hotel. But it was really loud at night. Twice, a guest trying to get back in rang the bell several times because nobody opened the door. It was unbelievably loud, so we woke up and opened it. The breakfast was a joke, just instant coffee and a packaged croissant.

The staff were really good and cooperative. The location is perfect for tourists, right among the attractions and close to termini train station. I’d rate it five stars and recommend it.
