Prassede Palace Hotel

We were only here for two nights while heading home. The hotel was handy for both the train station and the Colosseum, and the service was friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the electricity kept flickering and the AC dripped onto the floor.

We loved eating at Molino restaurant so much that we had lunch and dinner there too. Every meal was delicious, with fresh, high-quality food and plenty of variety. The breakfast was beautifully presented as well. Prassede Palace Hotel is lovely and in a great spot for seeing Rome, while still feeling calm and refined. From arrival, we felt welcomed and looked after. The hotel even arranged a surprise birthday celebration for us, such a thoughtful personal gesture. Thank you Lucas, Linda, Alex, Khaled and Leonardo for all your help. We left very happy and would return without hesitation. A memorable place to stay in Rome.

The room itself was poor, we had trouble with the hot water, and renovation noise started in the mornings. At night, the wardrobe's sensor light kept switching on by itself. Even the slightest movement triggered a bright light straight into our eyes and disturbed our sleep. We picked this hotel for its location, but in Italy, especially Rome, transport is good enough that location alone wasn't a reason to stay. We didn't feel we got value for what we paid. It was a very disappointing stay and had a negative effect on our holiday.

Being near Termini was convenient, but we had no rest or privacy. A machine room right beside us was noisy, and we could hear someone hammering and talking. When I opened the curtain, a worker was looking at us while working on the pipes. The shop was literally connected to our room.
