Sergio's place has the comfort and service of a hotel but still feels like home. The room was beautiful, and the view was incredible, even better in person than the photos. We had a private bathroom and balcony, AC, a TV with films, kitchen access, and an elevator. The retro building has charm, and the neighborhood felt local rather than touristy. There was a market nearby, buses were easy to find, and we enjoyed walking to the center each day, even returning late after dinner. It's close to Prati and Trastevere, about 15 minutes from the city center, with a park nearby for a run. Sergio was a fantastic host, communicative and helpful, and his English was a welcome relief after we'd been traveling for a while. Book his place without hesitation. I'd recommend it and would stay again if I get the chance to return to Rome.

Sergio was a wonderful host and available throughout our stay. He gave us a city map and recommended where to find great gelato and a good dinner. The room at SIR JOE' was splendid, with a spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, quality bedding and towels, and blinds that could be lowered completely for much-needed rest after sightseeing. From the balcony, Saint Peter s basilica dominates the view. It was AMAZING and really inspiring. The Vatican walls are just steps away, and the city center is walkable or reachable by bus 916 just around the corner. The neighborhood is quiet, and parking a car is easy. The room has what guests usually need, and the price was a big DEAL. It's a perfect place for a couple on their HONEYMOON, and feels like a home away from home.

The house was very clean, and Sergio was a great host. Still, it felt inconveniently far from the city center. On the second day, we suddenly lost both hot water and electricity. A guest in the next room came over angry at me, as though I had caused it, which was maddening. Sergio kept apologizing, but the issue wasn't fixed. We still couldn't use the hair dryer or the light stand, and it was too dark to pack our luggage. I don't want to stay here again.

The rooms were spotless, and the view of the cupolone was fantastic. Couldn't ask for more!
