The area felt safe to walk around at night, with convenience needs nearby, and the metro was under a 10-minute walk. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, with useful local recommendations. They also offer free baggage drop before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast costs 15 euros per person if you add it, though there are lots of nearby cafés with reasonable prices.

For a budget stay, especially if you’re traveling solo and not too sensitive to noise, this place can work, depending on your neighbors. I only had trouble sleeping the first night. After that, the neighbors were good or absent, and earplugs helped. I also liked the helpful, welcoming reception, which is open 24/7 and has English-speaking staff. The hotel was quite clean in my experience, and they respected the do-not-disturb sign I put on my door each day. There’s enough room and wardrobe space, basic things like a desk and side table, sufficient mirrors and lighting, and a bidet, as is standard in Italy. The location is decent, near the regional airport train, metro line B, buses, restaurants, and mini markets. The elevator worked, the mini-fridge seemed to work, and there’s a TV, though I didn’t try it. I didn’t test the AC or safe. Breakfast seemed expensive at 15 eur, so I didn’t try it. They charged a 100 eur refundable debit-card pre-authorization for potential room damage, and mine was refunded the next day, quickly, which was nice. There were a lot of downsides, though. The walls are very thin or the sound insulation is basically nonexistent. You can hear every word from next door, plus toilets, showers, and taps, so bring earplugs. The blanket setup was uncomfortable too, with the blanket sandwiched between two sheets instead of inside a proper cover. It came loose easily, and I had to keep fixing it. The bed was uncomfortable even though I’m usually not fussy, and as a side sleeper I found both pillows too thin. One was lower than the other, and stacking them made them too thick and high, so I managed with just one. The bathroom is cramped, with the sink right beside the toilet. My shoulder hit it when I sat straight, and I had to shift to the right, making it hard to maneuver and clean myself. Smaller annoyances included backwards-facing soap and shampoo bottles, loose shower-head parts, an old, inconvenient hairdryer, and three outlets, two of them awkwardly high up behind the bathroom door and right under the window. The fixtures felt poorly placed, and the TV seemed unplugged or out of order. This budget hotel feels somewhere between two and three stars. It may suit you if you’re not very sensitive about sleep, depending on your luck with neighbors, and if you’re not very tall or heavy. Please keep the noise down at night for the people next door.

The room looked clean and nice, and breakfast met my expectations for what I paid. The woman serving it speaks great English. The only issues were a shower that didn’t work properly and a toilet seat set uncomfortably high.

Maede and Denisa, along with all the receptionists, were really kind and made everything easier. The room was great and always kept clean and tidy. The location is perfect for visiting rome, with buses and trains nearby. It was a very good experience.

The first day, our room hadn’t been cleaned properly and smelled like a toilet. There was no heating except through the AC. The room was cleaned the next day, and the smell went away. That second night, someone set off the smoke alarm at 3:00 AM. We couldn’t sleep. The receptionist seemed unsure how to stop it and fumbled around, and their poor English made it hard for them to explain or address guests’ concerns. Firefighters and police arrived, and everyone was evacuated outside. The firefighters finally shut off the alarm at 3:40 AM. Then, as if that weren’t enough, they started drilling walls at 8:30 AM while people had been awake all night. Terrible management. It was my second day at the hotel, and I still felt I hadn’t rested.
