The staff were great, helpful, and pleasant. They even offer airport shuttle service at a fair price, which was a huge plus. I picked the place mainly because it’s close to the Vatican, and the rooms were clean and adequate, with what I needed to freshen up, make tea, or have a snack. I was only looking for somewhere to sleep since I spent all my time exploring Rome. It’s a charming spot, with a small corner market and a few great little eateries 3-5 minutes away on foot. The bus station is also close enough to walk to.

The people were nice, and the rooms were okay, though the bedsheets didn’t seem very clean. There’s nowhere to leave your luggage on checkout day. It’s very close to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s, but if you’re there to explore and experience nightlife, I’d recommend staying near the Pantheon area.

The location is great, with Vatican City right behind the property, but we won’t be returning. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait while it was cleaned. After a long, early flight, we’d been hoping to rest. Once it was ready, it still wasn’t clean: there were strands of hair on the towels, dust on the blankets, and dirt on the cups. We had to ask several times for room cleaning. There was a mix-up between the host and the cleaning person, and we came back to a dirty room and had to ask again. There were no basic toiletries, and the hair dryer stopped after steam came out of it. The host kindly replaced it. On our last night there was no hot water. We called to report it, but the host said that couldn’t be possible and asked us to wait. After that, he didn’t answer our calls, and the water was still cold the next day. The elevator is extremely small, and you have to climb stairs to reach it, which is especially difficult with suitcases. Even with the location, I’m sure there are better places to stay in the area.

The view from the room was beautiful, and it was very clean. There was a coffee machine and kettle. The shower was the weak spot, water went everywhere when we used it. The location is great, next to the Vatican City wall and close to Ottaviano metro station. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Peter’s Basilica St. Pasquale was very polite and helped us visit the Roma.

The atmosphere has just the local charm you want, and it’s great value with a wonderful host in a great location. Cleanliness was the thing I appreciated most, so keep those standards up! Grazie Pasquale! Grande! We’ll definitely come back.
