The location was good, but that was about it. I checked out yesterday after an awful stay. The bedsheets and pillows were dirty and stained brown, and there was no shampoo or anything else. My room had just a bed, a dirty drawer, two chairs, a small table, and a TV. It turns out you share the apartment, including the toilet and shower, with other people. The bathroom was in a really bad, unhygienic state, and the shower was rusty and nasty. I thought I'd booked a hotel room on Booking.com, and at 85€/night I expected one. This isn't a hotel, though. I really don't recommend this hostel. Don't get scammed like we did.

The person running the place was very polite, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. Vatican City is less than five minutes away. The floor in the bed rooms gets very wet, so bring your towels. If you need to get to the airport early, after 2 or 3 am, use "Welcome Pickups". There isn't taxi service to the airport after midnight or 1 am.

We could walk from here to all the tourist spots and local places in Rome, so the location was perfect. Alex was a great host, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. Noise was the one downside. Some nights we could hear other guests, as well as loud sounds outside.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, the location was perfect, and arranging things with the host was easy. Just be aware there isn't a hairdryer.

There are bedbugs everywhere. This is really bad accommodation. Don't stay here, you'll get bitten. I can't recommend it.
