Relais Parlamento

This is a nice hotel in a good spot, though the old building brings a few hassles. The lift can stop working if someone hasn't shut the door properly, and the room safe didn't work. The shower temperature was unpredictable, and since the balconies connect, leaving yours open could let someone come in.

The rooms were clean and the staff pleasant, and the location is very convenient. The bathroom is very small, though. More than that, the rooms in this old building have no soundproofing: you hear other guests as if they were in the hall, and the noisy lift can wake you. Light also comes through the door from the hallway. It was hard to get a peaceful night's sleep.

The room was cleaned beautifully every day, and the reception team were wonderful. Christopher checked in on us when our flight was delayed by several hours, and gave us useful suggestions for what to see at different times. Before we arrived, they had sent detailed directions and transport options from the airport. The place is spotless, friendly, and right next to Parliament, where there's police presence around the clock. We'll know where to stay next time we're in Rome.

We stayed in January and the room was lovely and warm. Towels and shampoo were provided, and although the bathroom was small, it worked perfectly well. The staff were nice and the location was great. I can only recommend it.
