Residenza Vittoria Roma

I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. The place is cozy and charming, with lovely decor and a great smell when you walk in. It feels like a home away from home. The hospitality was wonderful, with staff going out of their way from arrival through departure. For my birthday, I said I wanted to have a picnic but needed an old blanket. They gave me a brand-new one, along with a thoughtful note, a bottle of Prosecco, and a kind birthday message. Such a personal, generous gesture. On our last day, they also kept our bags safe until we were ready to leave for the airport, which was really helpful. The location works well for public transport and is walkable to lots of attractions. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, plus several shops if you want to cater for yourself. A comfortable place with genuinely kind hospitality. 10/10!

We had a wonderful week in April 2025. The owners and staff were all friendly and helpful. Daniele arranged our taxi from the airport and gave us useful tips throughout the stay. On departure day, an unexpected flight change affected our taxi for a very early morning flight. In the middle of the night, Emanuele kindly helped rebook and update the taxi so we'd make it to the airport. He really went above and beyond, and showed the same kindness we found across this lovely little hotel. The clean rooms are tastefully updated, air conditioned, and have a mini fridge stocked with snacks and breakfast items, a nice treat. The guest house is in a quiet, safe, pretty residential neighborhood, with restaurants nearby and an easy few minutes' walk to the metro. The Vatican is also within walking distance. It was nice to have a quiet place to return to after busy sightseeing days during the jubilee, away from some of the busier surrounding neighborhoods.

We spent three nights here and would happily come back. It’s a small residence on the first floor of a building with just four rooms, rather than a hotel. Our Suite 1 bathroom was enormous, and the shower was about three times the size of the others we’d seen in Italy. The room was modern and clean, and the bed was big and comfortable. Daniele welcomed us in person, showed us around the area, and sent dinner suggestions and tips for getting about. He even arranged our airport bus, saving us around 40€. The stop is only 4-5 blocks away. We walked to the Vatican, Castel St. Angelo, and all the other major sights; when we were worn out, an Uber back from the farthest point we’d reached was usually 17-20€. The neighborhood feels very local and is lovely too.

Daniel looked after us really well, replying quickly whenever we got in touch. The property feels secure, is very well kept, and has a distinctive character. It’s also conveniently placed for the sights and other places you might want to visit. We’d gladly stay here again next time.
