Residenze Serventi Longhi

There was a dirty pair of socks in our room, and the shower leaked quite a bit and didn't drain well. We also kept hearing sirens, a crying baby, or a barking dog, which was unfortunate. I didn't hate the stay and we enjoyed parts of it, but it was a little pricey, and the city tax was much higher than at other places we stayed. I'd probably choose somewhere else next time.

The location was a big plus, with shops nearby and the metro right by the entrance. It's also about a 20-minute walk to the Coliseum, and our room had a very nice view. Breakfast came as vouchers we could exchange for a cappuccino and croissant. We had a hot-water problem at first, but Emiliano at reception responded quickly and it was fixed the next day. They also gave us some money back for the inconvenience, which really surprised us and made us happy. I highly recommend it.

Elinor at reception was so friendly and easy to chat with. She recommended a great local restaurant, arranged our taxi back to the airport, and even checked in that morning to make sure the taxi was all sorted. I'd stay here again if I come back to Rome. It's a lovely boutique hotel in a great spot, right by the metro and the Latern basillica. Our room was bright and airy.

Emiliano was a great host, really helpful and understanding. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, and there was a coffee machine, tea and bottled water. The location is excellent, with the metro station just 20 meters away. The room was great, and the bed very comfortable.
