ROGIUAL appartamento

The bus stops right outside the complex, and you can reach the owners any time, 24/7. Roberto, thanks for making us feel welcome and comfortable, you and the other owners went the extra mile. The ladies who came to clean were friendly and thorough, too. Rogiual really does feel like home away from home.

Top!!!

I stayed here a few years back, so maybe things have changed since then. The only real plus for me was being near the private school where I was taking exams for a friend. The room looked nice, but it was extremely hot, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, and the neighborhood felt so-so. The power only came on when someone was in the room with the key card inserted, which I understand, but in July it was hell. Breakfast was awful: a couple of stale pastries and coffee. I’m all for avoiding waste, but a leftover dessert that’s less than half a portion and completely dry shouldn’t be served to guests. People passed it around, nobody dared touch it, and it just sat there. We saw the same pastries from arrival through departure, with no idea what day they’d been made. Service felt sad, almost nonexistent. We’d chosen the place based on the good reviews and ended up thinking about leaving early out of desperation. Maybe another season would have made for a different stay, and perhaps they’ve improved since. Unless you need to be nearby for work or just need one night, I wouldn’t recommend it. About the owner’s reply: My reviews are personal accounts of my own experience, and they’re legitimate, not some revenge plot. I gave three stars out of five, not one, because that felt fair. Seeing this response makes me think I could lower the rating, but the comment speaks for itself to anyone reading it.

It’s peaceful outside, and that quiet makes up for being quite far from the city center. The staff were friendly, and the owners were helpful and welcoming. The place was clean.
